The story of Crystalaugur is a strange one: the obscure Native American band Crystalaugur recorded this album in Singapore between 1972 and 1973, orginally pressing a mere 200 copies for a private label (Warped Rec) and the ridiculously small pressing made the original album an unbelievable rarity. The fuzz guitar and space rock vocals definitely put this LP in the psychedelic realm with an interesing primitive backdrop.

Buckingham Nicks - Buckingham Nicks (1973) (US)

Stevie Nicks conoció a su futuro compañero en la música y el romance Lindsey Buckingham, mientras asistía a la escuela Menlo Atherton.
Años después se volvieron a encontrar y Buckingham recordó la buena voz de Nicks y junto con Javier Pacheco y Calvin Roper formaron una banda llamada Fritz que se hizo popular por sus presentaciones en vivo entre 1968 y 1972. Fueron teloneros, entre otros, de Jimi Hendrix y Janis Joplin. La banda eventualmente se separó pero Nicks y Buckingham continuaron escribiendo y grabando como dúo lanzando el álbum Buckingham Nicks en 1973. Para ese tiempo ya se habían convertido en pareja sentimental.
A pesar de su provocativa cubierta que mostraba una fotografía de la pareja desnuda, el álbum no fue exitoso. De todos modos llamó la atención del baterista Mick Fleetwood que estaba buscando un nuevo guitarrista para su banda Fleetwood Mac. Nicks estaba reducida a una trabajadora de limpieza en ese momento. Fleetwood estaba interesado sólo en Lindsay Buckingham para reemplazar a su ex guitarrista Bob Welch, pero Buckingham dijo que sólo se uniría a la banda si también invitaban a Nicks lo cual fue acordado. El nuevo conjunto lanzó el álbum Fleetwood Mac en 1975. Nicks aportó varias canciones incluyendo "Rhiannon" y "Landslide", originalmente escritas para el segundo álbum de Buckingham Nicks. La unión entre el dúo y la veterana banda demostró ser exitoso, y un revitalizado Fleetwood Mac logró su primer #1 en la lista Billboard 200 y vendió más de 5 millones de discos.

Rare Bird era una banda de rock progresivo fundada en 1969. Ellos se formaron en Inglaterra, pero tuvieron mas éxito en otros países de Europa que en su propia casa.La formación inicial de la banda era como sigue, aunque no habría cambios hasta trabajar en su tercer álbum.
